<strong>T<\/strong>erephthalate (NICE-PET)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">NICE-PET is a research project, funded by The Ministry of University and research, that aims at using the larvae of Black Soldier Fly (BSF), <em>Hermetia illucens<\/em>, one of the most promising systems used in bioconversion technologies for waste processing and valorization, as a bioreactor to efficiently reduce PET waste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>   <\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" Fondazione Cariplo, that aims at developing an innovative biotechnological application to recover PET microplastics from wastewater and exploit the power of protein engineering and systems biology project\u00a0focused on the modulation of the immune responses of BSF larvae to increase their tolerance to infections in mass rearing conditions and enhance the production of antimicrobial
