Professor Giuseppe Armocida
Giuseppe Armocida, full Professor of History of Medicine at the University of Insubria, has also taught at the Universities of Ancona, Bari, Pavia and at the Statale of Milan. In parallel to his scientific activities he also worked in the archaeological field, collaborating in the excavations of prehistoric and roman Angera (years 1972-1975) and in other sites. In his role of professor of History of Medicine and Director of the Department of Medicine and Public Health he has started collaboration with the Superintendence to conduct anthropological and paleopathological investigations in the territory.
